My Dad passed on last year and my mum unearthed one of his service medals from the Second World War (actually, after the end of the war). He was stationed in Palestine, now Israel, for that time, and ended up as a Corporal in the Royal Signals.
He should have a couple of other medals, particularly his service medal from wartime but my mum hasn't found them up to now.
