Another Addition
This'll be interesting to see how many people are reading this. Becky and I are expecting another baby. We are due towards the end of August, though this won't be confirmed until the first scan.
We are very happy that it's happened so quickly after Emily was born. Becky particularly was keen to have them close together, rather than waiting the statuatory 2 years. Becky loves being pregnant as well but she'd better make the most of it because I don't think we'll be having a third.
An unintended consequence of this (for me) is that I won't be doing Ironman UK this year, since it's on the 19th of August. It'd be too risky for me to travel all that way if the baby hadn't appeared yet, and a bit selfish if it had. I'm going to do Aberfeldy Middle Distance on the 18th, all being well. This means that I'll be able to pick any Ironman I want for 2008 - I'm currently thinking about going to Zurich to do IM Switzerland. It also takes a bit of pressure away from me on the swimming front as well, since the longest I'll have to swim this year will be 1.9 kilometres rather than 3.8.
